Thanksgiving Traditions At The Dixon Home

Tomorrow is one of my most favorite days of the year. Corrine and I bake all kinds of pies, make rolls and prep anything we can to make Thanksgiving Day go more smoothly. I found these older pictures from Thanksgiving 2008. Wow, how time flies!

We listen to Christmas music and sip on coffee and bake until we drop. We bring in the younger kids to help peel and slice the apples and make some cinnamon & sugar delights with the leftover pie dough. They also help us tie the roll dough into knots

On Thanksgiving Day we have a sweet time of sharing where we go around the table and share what we are thankful for. We write down what everyone shares either in our Thanksgiving Journal or on leaves and add them to our Thanksgiving Tree. This year I am printing off this adorable printable from Karla Dornacher. You can download your printable here. You will LOVE her work!
